Historically and up to recently, the United States has been the country that receives the highest amount of refugees from all over the world. Due to the importance this topic has been garnering, we want to be a reference for those concerned, specially those wishing to apply as refugees; to allow them to understand the current profile of a refugee and how their integration and resetllement process. For this we gathered data mainly from statistics from The Refugee Processing Center (RPC) operated by the Department of State(DOS); as well as the 50th Annual Survey of Refugees (ASR) from the University of Michigan. The website is divided in two parts, the first aims to show through a map the settlement of refugees from the top 10 countries reported up to date, throughtout the different states and their respective cities. The second visualization focuses on giving more information on this by showing how the data is grouped in the applicants household and, on top of that, it offers information on integration criteria in different domains (health, employment,etc.). The user can play with these different filters for a given year.
